De laatste 4 weken is er hier en daar getwittered over het, Amsterdam Twestival, de meeste van jullie hebben waarschijnlijk geen idee wat zich achter de schermen allemaal heeft afgespeeld, maar een ding kunnen we jullie zeker, beloven. Het wordt een super, spektakel. Georganiseerd door gemeenschap, voor gemeenschap.

Gepassioneerde vrijwilligers hebben zich een slag in de rondte gewerkt, om het allemaal van de grond te krijgen. Alles wat we er voor terug vragen is dat je een kaartje koopt, en het aan al je vrienden, collega’s en wie het maar horen wil door verteld, want hoe meer kaarten er verkocht worden hoe meer geld er gaat naar onze zes (6) goede doelen.

Je kunt je kaartjes online kopen via Paydro. Paydro accepteert betalingen via PayPal, Creditcard en iDeal. Een leuke bijkomstigheid is, dat je zelf kunt kiezen naar welke van de zes goede doelen jou geld gaat. Namens het hele Amstwestival team willen we van deze gelegenheid gebruik maken om het Paydro team te bedanken voor het beschikbaar stellen van een veilige online betaal mogelijkheid voor het kopen van kaarten.

Kaartjes voor het grote spektakel in de Odeon op 10 september as zijn nu te verkrijgen voor 15 Euro per stuk. Amsterdam Twestival brings you not only one event on 10th September but two events! Sponsored by Seats2meet and Mindz, we’ve organised a unique offline event between 10:00-15:00 in Maarssen, where four of the leaders in the Dutch social media and mobile landscape will give there time, at no cost to share their knowledge. But there is a catch! We’ve restricted this day-time event to individuals, volunteers and employees from Stichtings and NGOs, as long as you work with or have an association with a non-profit organisation, you’re through the door.

This educational event forms part of our roadmap, which we set-down at the beginning of this fundraising project. Our aim is not too just handover money to the 6 charities but to educate them and as many Stichtings, NGOs and aid organisations on the benefits of social networking. Many of the charities we spoke with, were familiar with or interested in using Twitter or Facebook in their fundraising campaigns but lacked in-depth knowledge on how social media could help them to connect and create conversations with donors and supporters.

The speakers will present in Dutch and entrance to Stichtings and NGOs is free of charge. With only 100 seats available, please register online in advance.  You will then receive an e-ticket which you must print and present upon arrival. In addition, not only do you get free entry to this event but also, our fundraising party later that evening hosted at the Odeon Night Club, Amsterdam between 19:00-02:00.
